All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mr. Hoyt Clark (Photo) (Jan. 5, 1920 - Feb. 7, 2001) Mr. Hoyt Clark, 81, of Many, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 7, at the Sabine Medical Center, after a lengthy illness. He was a resident of Sabine Parish, and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a decorated World War II veteran, and was well known for his outstanding career as a Fishing Tool Operator in the oilfield industry around the world. Hoyt was known for the love that he had for his fellow man, and was always willing to lend a hand to others. He will be greatly missed by all. He is preceded in death by his wife, Louise Clark, and his late wife, Virginia Lee Clark. He is also preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Emma Clark. He is preceded in death by five sisters, Mary Clark, Daisey Nessar, Katie Browning, Zenia Brown, and Rene McGraw; and one brother, Jack Clark. Survivors include two brothers, Bill Clark of DeRidder, and Floyd Clark and wife Opal of Shreveport; one sister, Amy Eason of Fisher; one step daughter, Susan McComic and husband Ray of Florien; one stepson, Lynn Lee and wife Debra of Antioch, Calif.; one special niece, Billie Brooks and husband Ivy of Hornbeck; one granddaughter/caregiver, Kristy Carver and husband Tommy of Bossier City; granddaughters, Ginger Vines of Florien, and Sarah Mitcham and husband Dennis of Evans; grandsons, Richard Lee of Kingsport, Tenn., Shannon Lee, Scott Lee, and Adam Lee and wife, Chrissy, all of Antioch, Calif.; eight great grandchildren, Jeopardy, and Cody Mitcham, Callie, and Cameron Lee, Taryn Vines, Karley, and Jacob Oxley, and Cheyenne Lee; one special neighbor, Howard Baldwin of Many; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. The family would like to thank Sabine Medical Center, and Dr. Jack Corley for being a friend and doctor to Mr. Clark. Also a special thanks to Ms. Eunice Knippers, and Ms. Dorothy Foster, for assisting Mr. Clark during his last days. Warren Meadows, Many, La.
