Clark, 76, of Many, were held on Saturday, Jan. 25, at 11 a.m., at the First United Methodist Church of Many. Officiating were the Rev. John B. Koelemay, and the Rev. Mark Bray, church pastor. Burial followed in the Many Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Kenneth Ammons, John Byrd, William Lafitte, Bob Nolen, Tommy Joe Andries, Andy Shehee, and Bill Webber. Honorary pallbearers were Joe Luster, and Jim Lyon. Mrs. Clark died at Sabine Medical Center on Jan. 22. She was born in Many on February 15, 1926, to Annie Cleo Alford Pugh and Henry Quinton Pugh. She was a homemaker, and worked as a teller at Sabine State Bank, before her marriage to Robert L. "Bob" Clark Jr. in 1942. She was a charter member of the Many Pilot Club, and a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church of Many. Survivors include her husband, R. L. Clark Jr. of Many; a son, Robert L. Clark III and wife Elaine of Hayward, California; daughter, Emily Clark Creed and husband Patrick of Baton Rouge; brother, Henry Q. Pugh and wife Peggy of Lake Charles; and four grandchildren, Emily Clark, Laura Clark, and Elizabeth Clark, all of Hayward, California; and Corey Creed of Baton Rouge. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
