"Bob" Clark Jr., 82, of Many, were held Saturday, March 22, at 11 a.m., at the First United Methodist Church of Many. The Rev. Mark Bray, church pastor, and former pastor, the Rev. John Koelemay, officiated. Burial followed in the Many Cemetery. Mr. Clark died Wednesday, March 19, in Baton Rouge, after bravely facing cancer. He was born Dec. 18, 1920, in Fisher, to Hester Martin Clark and Robert L. Clark Sr. He was a graduate of Many High School, and Northwestern State University. He served as a pilot in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. Mr. Clark's career as an accountant spanned over five decades. He was employed by Nichols, Inc., and worked until shortly before his death. He was active in many Sabine Parish civic organizations, and was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 50 years, Margie P. Clark; and his parents. He is survived by his son, Robert L. Clark III and wife Elaine of Hayward, California; daughter, Emily Clark Creed and husband Patrick of Baton Rouge; four grandchildren, Emily, Laura, and Elizabeth Clark, all of Hayward, California, and Corey Clark Creed of Baton Rouge; and a host of friends.
