John Alvin Chaney

  John Alvin Chaney, 21, of Florien, died Jun 6, as the result of an automobile accident.

  Funeral services were held at Pisgah Baptist Church, Jun 8, with the Rev. C. C. Pierce,
and Rev. F. M. Belcher officiating. Burial was in Pisgah Cemetery, under the direction
Warren meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Surviving relatives include his mother, Mrs. Naomi Curtis of Florien; step-father, James
Curtis of Florien; a brother, James Curtis of Florien; two sisters, Mary Ann, and Darlene
Curtis, both of Florien; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Skinner of Florien.
