The Sabine Index - J. F. Coan

  20 Apr 1951 - Funeral rites for J. F. Coan, 83, who passed
away at his home in Hornbeck 10:23 a.m. Sunday, April 5, were
conducted 2 p.m. the following day by Rev. J. H. Ricks. Interment
followed in Self cemetery under direction Hixon funeral home,
Leesville.

  Mr. Coan, a native of the state of Indiana, had resided at
Hornbeck 50 years, was a member of the Baptist church.

  Surviving relatives include: sons, F. B. Coan, Hornbeck, five
grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; a brother, J. T. Coan,
Fort Supply, Okla.
