Officiating was the Rev. Mark Sutton, pastor of Brookwood Baptist Church. Burial was in Centuries Memorial Park. Mrs. Campbell died Monday, January 18, 1993, after a lengthy illness. She was born in Zwolle, La., and had been a resident of Shreveport most of her life. Mrs. Campbell was a homemaker, and a member of Brookwood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her brother, Claud W. Winkler. Survivors include her husband, Charles J. Campbell; son, Charles J. "Chuck" Campbell III and wife Leanne; daughter, Karen Martin and husband Jeff; mother, Mrs. C. O. Winkler; seven sisters, Mrs. C. W. Winkler; seven sisters, Mrs. C. W. Webb, Mrs. H. A. Warner, Mrs. Melvin Brazzel, Mrs. H. D. Snider, Mrs. John R. Harris, and Mrs. R. H. Shirley, all of Shreveport, and Mrs. E. M. Poole of Mansfield, La. Pallbearers were C. W. Webb Jr., Donald Webb, Martin Poole, Randy Brazzel, Larry Brazzel, Dean Snider, Gaylord Harris, and Rick Shirley. The family suggests memorials may be made to Willis-Knighton Hospice Program.
