Campbell, 82, were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 23, 1996, at Highland Center, under the direction of Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel in Shreveport. Officiating was Dr. Jon M. Stubblefield, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Shreveport, assisted by Raymond T. Boswell. Interment was in Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent Ave. Mrs. Campbell passed away Saturday, April 20, in Shreveport, after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Pleasant Hill, and a lifelong resident of Shreveport. She was a retired counselor for the Caddo Parish School District. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; one brother; and one daughter, Janice Bertran. She is survived by her husband, Mr. C. P. Campbell of Shreveport; sons, Charles W. Campbell and his wife Dixie of Plano, Tex., and James W. Campbell of Shreveport; sister, Floy W. Poindexter of Shreveport; three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
