Campbell, 82, of Orangefield, Texas, died Friday, Oct. 24, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 27, at Bayou Scie Methodist Church in Zwolle, with interment following at Bayou Scie Cemetery in Zwolle. The Rev. Lindsey Smith of St. John's United Methodist Church, and the Rev. Hugh Warren of Bayou Scie United Methodist Church. Mr. Campbell was a native of Noble, and was raised in Zwolle, and had resided 43 years in Orangefield, Texas. He was a retired pumper, with Texkan Oil Company, and a member of St. John's United Methodist Church in West Orange, Texas. Survivors include his widow, Inez Campbell of Orangefield, Texas; two daughters, Shelba Forse, and Barbara Coulter, both of Orangefield, Texas; two sons, James R. Campbell of Bridge City, Texas, and Troy G. Campbell of Austin, Texas; two sisters, Theo White of McCool, Neb., and Thelma Biegert of Phoenix, Ariz.; one brother, Barney Campbell of Zwolle; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Chad Coulter, Jim Cooper, Jason Campbell, Jeremy Cooper, Rodney Campbell, and John Erickson. Claybar Funeral Home, Bridge City, Texas.
