Mrs. Sophia Louis Campbell

  Funeral services for Mrs. Sophia Louise Campbell, age 90, were
held at 10 a.m., Feb. 16, at Trinity Baptist Church, with pastor
Rev. James White officiating, assisted by Rev. Filer Seal, and
Rev. W. T. Hall. Burial was in Zoar Cemetery, under the direction
of Hixson Funeral Home in West Monroe, where Mrs. Campbell passed
away, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. M.
C. Griggs (Fleta), at 601 Bancroft St.

  She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mrs. Campbell is
survived by five daughters, Mrs. C. W. Walden, Camden, Texas,
Mrs. Winnie O. Chance, Pineville, La., Mrs. Bessie Holden,
Burney, Calif., Mrs. Fleta Griggs, West Monroe, La., Mrs. G. A.
Potts (Jemmie), Galveston, Texas; one son, Narra Vidler, Burney,
Calif.; 25 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.
