Mrs. Ola Champion

  Mrs. Ola W. Champion, 78, died Monday, Aug. 21.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 23, in
the Zwolle Pentecostal Church, with the Rev. Jack Terrell, and
the Rev. G. O. Walker officiating. Burial was in the Bayou Scie
Cemetery, under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield.

  Survivors are her husband; two sons, Leonard Champion of San
Diego, Calif., and Marvin Champion of Houston, Tex.; five
daughters, Mrs. Hester Day of LaMesa, Tex., Mrs. Era Bell Shaw
of Independence, Mo., Mrs. Hazel Day of Grand Prairie, Tex.,
Mrs. Eula M. Ammons of Zwolle, and Mrs. Merlene Clarke of Port
Arthur, Tex.; 15 grandchildren; four brothers, Andrew Williford,
Dave Williford, Bill Williford, and Marvin Williford, all of
Shreveport; four sisters, Mrs. Martha Walden of Houston, Tex.,
Mrs. Virgie Musgrove of Pine Bluff, Ark., Mrs. Odell Cogswell of
Mesa, Ariz., and Mrs. Wilmer Metcalf of Mesa, Ariz.
