W. C. Champion

  W. C. Champion, 89, of Zwolle, died Thursday, March 29, at 10
a.m., in Shreveport.

  Funeral services were held Saturday, March 31, at 2 p.m., at the
Bayou Scie Methodist Church, with the Rev. Bill Sirman
officiating. Burial was in the Bayou Scie Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. W. C. Champion of Zwolle; two sons,
H. W. Champion of Corpus Christi, and A. W. Champion of Zwolle;
one daughter, Mrs. Eva Quarles of Modesto, Calif.; seven
grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, and two brothers, Ernest
Champion of Zwolle, and John Champion of Tioga.
