  John Champion - October 25, 1973

  John Champion, 79, of Tioga died at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, in the
Veterans Hospital, Oct. 21, in Alexandria. He was a retired
carpenter.

  Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Betty C. Driggers of Tioga; a
brother Ernest Champion of Zwolle and a number of grandchildren.

  The body was at Rush Funeral Home Pineville, where services were
held in the chapel Oct. 23, Tuesday, at 10 a.m. Chaplain Felix
Williams officiated. Burial was in National Cemetery.
