Herman Dwight Champion

  Funeral services for Herman Dwight Champion, 59, of Zwolle, were
held Saturday, May 25, 1996, at 2 p.m. Interment was at Bayou
Scie Cemetery.

  Mr. Champion passed away May 24, at the V.A. Hospital in
Shreveport. He was born July 14, 1936, in El Dorado, Ark., to
Herman and Ertie Fox Champion.

  He is survived by his father, Herman W. Champion of Zwolle; two
sons, William Champion of Dallas, and Phillip (Champion) Gibson
of Austin, Ark.; two sisters, Helen Gifford of San Bonos, Calif.,
and Lavern Emerson of Cabot Ark.; one grandchild; several nieces
and nephews; and a host of friends.
