Herman W. Champion

  Funeral services for Herman W. Champion, 89, of Zwolle, were
held Thursday, Nov. 14, 1996, at 10 a.m., at Pendleton Assembly
of God. Officiating was Rev. Max McGough. Interment was at Bayou
Scie Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.

  Mr. Champion passed away Saturday, Nov. 9, in Zwolle.

  He is survived by two daughters, Helen Gifford of Los Bonds,
Calif., and Laverne (Billie) Emerson of Cabot, Ark.; one sister,
Eva Quarles of Calif.; six grandchildren; six great
grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
