Roderick M. Champion

  Roderick Marion Champion, 57, of Natchitoches, died Monday, May
5.

  Survivors are his widow; one son, Von Champion of Natchitoches;
one daughter, Mrs. Marion Gayle Knott of Garland, Tex.; two
brothers, Bruce Champion of Natchez, and Cecil Champion of
Shreveport; one sister, Mrs. Pauline Brasher of Natchitoches; his
mother, Mrs. Von Champion of Natchitoches; and four
grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at Grand Ecore.

  Mr. Champion was born in Pleasant Hill, where his late father,
Von Champion, served as City Marshal.
