Minnie Mae Champion

  Funeral services for Minnie Mae Champion, age 75, who died June
20, were conducted at Bayou Scie Methodist Church at 11 a.m.,
June 21, with Rev. Barney Flannagan officiating. Interment was in
the church cemetery, under the direction of Warren Funeral Home.

  Survivors are her husband, W. C. Champion of Zwolle; sons, H. W.
Champion of Corpus Christi, Texas; daughter, Mrs. Eva Quarles of
Modesto, Calif.; brothers, Lee Daily of Cedar Grove; sisters,
Mrs. Lou Savell of Cedar Grove, Mrs. Jewell Beal of Houston,
Tex., Mrs. Fannie Chaplin of Elk Hart, Texas, Mrs. Lillie Warden
of Elk Hart; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
