Lela Chambers

  Services for Lela Chambers, 76, of Natchitoches, were held at 11
a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 21, in Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home
Chapel in Natchitoches, with the Rev. J. R. Herron officiating.
Burial followed in the Fern Park Cemetery.

  Mrs. Chambers died Monday, Nov. 19, in Natchitoches Parish
Hospital, after a brief illness.

  Survivors include two sons, Leo Chambers of Houston, and
Theodore Chambers of Natchitoches; two daughters, Jo Ann Baker of
McComb, Miss., and Irene Richardson of Natchitoches; two sisters,
Tessie Jones of Center, Tx., and Joy Chambers of Zwolle; four
brothers, Robert Cochran of Anacoco, Dewey Cochran of Winnsboro,
Henry Cochran of Henderson, Tex., and Homer Cochran of Galveston,
Tx.; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
