Kenneth C. Canover

  Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth C. Canover, 83, of Lytle, Tex.,
were held at 10 a.m., in Thursday, Dec. 21, in the chapel of the
Hurley Funeral Home in Devine, Tex.

  Rev. Bob Alexander officiated. Masonic graveside services were
under the auspices of Devine Lodge #590 F&AM, in the Moore
Community Cemetery.

  Mr. Canover died on Monday, Dec. 18, in Lytle, Tex. He was born
on August 2, 1912, in Moore, Tex. He was a resident of the Mt.
Zion Community for about 27 years. He was a volunteer fireman of
Mt. Zion Fire Department for 6 years.

  Survivors are his wife, Hallie Mae Canover of Lytle; one
daughter, Reeda Kay Lawrence of Lytle; granddaughter-in-law,
Angela Lawrence of Lytle; and great grandson, Tyler Lawrence of
Lytle.
