Chambers, 79, were held Saturday, Sept. 21, 1996, at 10 a.m., at Aimwell Baptist Church, under the direction of Les Fontaine Funeral Home. Interment was at Aimwell Cemetery. Mr. Chambers passed away Sept. 18, in Many. He was born in Sabine County, Tex., on April 27, 1917, to James Malcolm, and Nannie Bragg Chambers. Mr. Chambers was preceded in death by his first wife, Bernice Chambers; his second wife, Joy Chambers; his sister, Myrtle Bennett; and two brothers, Theo, and A. D. Chambers. He is survived by three sons, Dennis, and William Chambers, both of Zwolle, and Emmitt Malcolm Chambers of San Jose, Calif.; his daughter, Brenda White of Nacogdoches, Tex.; and his brother, Duard Chambers of Sunnyvale, Calif. He also leaves 10 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren to mourn his passing.
