WILLIAM S. CHOWNS

Last rites for William S.Chowns, age 74, who died September 5, 1962,
were comdusted at Aimwell Baptist Church at 2:30 p.m. September 9, 1962 with
the Rev. B. C. Miller officiating.

Pallbearers were Marcus Bell, Clay Lawton, James Petty, Wayne Young
Wood, John Linden and A. L. Wedgeworth,Jr.

Survivors are three sons, T. R. Chowns of Tucson, Ariz, Cloyce Chowns of
Carlsbad, N.M., James Chowns of Shreveport, La.; daughters Mrs. James
Petty of Shreveport, Mrs. Clay Lawton of Welton, Ariz., Mrs. Marcus P.
Bell of N.M., ; 2 brothers, George Chowns of Waco, Texas, and Henry
Chowns of Norfolk, Va.; one sister, Mrs. A.L. Wedgeworth of Shreveport;
21 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
