Mrs. Oma Chance

  Mrs. Oma Chance, 59, of Florien, died in Ruston, Friday, Dec.
27, at 5:15, after an extended illness.

  Services were held at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Sunday,
Dec. 29, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Earl Marr, and the Rev. Phillip
Tisdale officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, under
the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include her husband, W. M. Chance of Florien; 2 sons,
Bobby G. Chance of Ruston, and W. M. Chance, Jr. of Shreveport; 6
sisters, Mrs. Effie Oxley, Mrs. Erin? Mae Alford, Mrs. Lula Ross,
and Mrs. Pearl Patrick, all of Many, Mrs. Emma Oxley of
Shreveport, and Mrs. Ruth Ennis of Bossier City, one brother,
Joseph Byrd of Florien, and 6 grandchildren.
