Woodrow Chance

  Woodrow Chance, 60, of Plainview, died Saturday, April 16, at 2
p.m., after a short illness.

  Funeral services were held Monday, April 18, at 2 p.m., after a
short illness.

  Funeral services were held Monday, April 18, at 2 p.m., in the
Warren Meadows Chapel, with the Rev. Billy Reece Nolen, and the
Rev. Marvin Brown officiating. Interment was in the Prewitts
Chapel Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.

  Surviving relatives are his wife, Mrs. Gennie Vie Chance of
Plainview; two sons, Dewin Chance of Orange, Tex., and two
daughters, Mrs. Melba Sigler of Florien, and Mrs. Melba Nolen of
Hornbeck; three brothers, Albert, and Leroy Chance, both of
Hornbeck, and James Chance of Serepta; two sisters, Mrs. Onie
Nolen of Hineston, La., and Mrs. Onida Arnold of LaCamp, La.; his
mother, Mrs. Liza Chance of Hornbeck; and 11 grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Delwin Chance, Deloy Nolen, Charles Bailey,
Randy Chance, Jessie Nolen, and Tommy Arnold.
