Mrs. Lizer A. Chance

  Mrs. Lizer A. Chance, 91, of Hornbeck, died at 9:50 p.m., on
Monday, May 12, following an extended illness. She was
hospitalized at Fraser Hospital South.

  Survivors include three sons, John M. Chance, and Joseph L.
Chance, both of Hornbeck, and James L. Chance of Serepta; two
daughters, Mrs. Edna O. Nolen of Hineston, and Mrs. Onida Arnold
of LeCompte; 36 grandchildren, and 67 great grandchildren; and
two great-great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Plainview Baptist Church on
Wednesday, May 14, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Billy Nolen officiated.
Burial followed in the Toro Cemetery, under the direction of the
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
