Allen Ellender Chance (Photo)

  Mr. Allen Ellender Chance, 52, died Dec. 27, 1987, at Sabine
Medical Center in Many.

  Services were held at Prewitt Chapel, at 1 p.m., Dec. 29, with
Rev. David Hippler officiating. Burial was at Prewitt Chapel
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Ollie Chance of Leesville;
one daughter, Lynette Kay of Fisher; two step sons, Thurman
Stewart of Florien, and Kelsie Chance of Fisher; one sister,
Lerah Masters of Florien; seven brothers, Francis C. Chance,
Wilburn L. Chance, Floyd Chance, and Coleman L. Chance, all of
Anacoco, Talmadge Chance of Hornbeck, James O. Chance of Dallas,
Tex., and Wesley D. Chance of Houston, Tex.; three grandchildren;
and one great granddaughter; and a host of nieces and nephews.
