Allen Ellender Chance

  Mr. Allen Ellender Chance, 52, died at Sabine Medical Center in
Many, on Dec. 27, 1987.

  Services were held at Prewitt Chapel, on Dec. 27, 1987.

  Services were held at Prewitt Chapel on Dec. 29, at 1 p.m., with
Rev. David Hippler officiating. Burial was at Prewitt Chapel
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Ollie Chance of Leesville;
one daughter, Lynette Kay of Fisher; two step-sons, Thurman
Stewart of Florien, and Kelsie Chance of Fisher; one sister,
Lerah Masters of Florien; seven brothers, Francis C. Chance,
Wilburn L. Chance, Floyd Chance, Coleman L. Chance, all of
Anacoco, Wesley D. Chance of Houston, Tex., James O. Chance of
Dallas, Tex., and Talmadge Chance of Hornbeck, La.; three
grandchildren; and one great granddaughter; and a host of nieces
and nephews.
