Four years after the death of Timothy Tynes she was married to John H. Chance, being four children born to each marriage, died Dec 23, 1929, age 80 years. Aunt Mandy, as she was commonly known, joined the Baptist church when young. She found her greatest joy in church attendance and in her children, being eight children, forty-four grandchildren and fifty-eight great grandchildren living. She was well known, loved and respected by many friends because of her high ideal of morals and Christian living. She was laid to rest at Mt. Carmel church cemetery on the day before Christmas, Rev. W. G. Bailey conducting the services.
