Nelda C. Chance

  Funeral services for Mrs. Nelda C. Chance, 54, were held at 2
p.m., Wednesday, October 24, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Many.
Burial was in Union Cemetery at Florien, under the direction of
Beauregard-Vernon Funeral Home of Leesville. Rev. Erby Barber,
Rev. John Thompson, Rev. Dean Davidson, and Rev. Arnold Whitson
officiated.

  Mrs. Chance passed away at L.S.U. Medical Center in Shreveport
on October 23.

  She was a native of Dess, La.

  Survivors include her husband, Rev. C. V. Chance; three sons,
Joseph V. Chance of Florien, Eddy James Chance of Austin, Tex.,
and Bobby Lynn Chance of Florien; three daughters, Melba Collene
Hilton of Florien, Pamela Idel Johnson of Pineville, and Sandra
Denise Chance of Florien; two brothers, Kenneth Royal of Many,
and Quinton Royal of Florien; two sisters, Nell Wagner of Fort
Smith, Arkansas, and Barbara Walker of Many; and five
grandchildren.
