Kody Heath Chance

  Kody Heath Chance, 16, of Hornbeck, died Friday, Aug. 31, 2001.

  Funeral services were held at 4 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 2, at First
Baptist Church of Hornbeck, with interment following at Prewitt's
Chapel Cemetery. The Rev. Jerry Ray, the Rev. Jimmy Evans, and
the Rev. Hoy Leach officiated.

  Survivors include his parents, Wayne and Kathy Chance of
Hornbeck; brother, Justin Chance of Hornbeck; maternal
grandparents, Ance and Ruth Ellzey of Florien; paternal
grandparents, Joseph Leroy and Joyce Chance of Hornbeck; and a
host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

  Pallbearers were Doug Chance, Carl Chance, Larry Chance, Tony
Chance, Tim Chance, Donny Pickard, Greg Ellzey, Allen Ellzey,
Kenneth Ellzey, and Thomas Alford.
