Mrs. Mattie Ola Chance

  Mrs. Mattie Ola Chance, 76, of Florien, died Aug. 10, after an
extended illness.

  Surviving relatives include three sons, Willis, and Hance, both
of Elizabeth, and Vance Chance of Port Arthur, Tex.; one
daughter, Mrs. Mavis Stephen; sister, Mrs. Bell Hodnett of
DeRidder; 11 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at Faith Baptist Church, Aug. 12,
with the Rev. Duane Pringle, the Rev Avon Cavanaugh, and the Rev.
Bob Summer officiating. Burial was in Florien Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.
