K. Floyd Chance

  Funeral services for Klug Floyd Chance, 76, of Hornbeck, were
held Monday, July 22, in Prewitt's Chapel Baptist Church. Mr.
Chance died Saturday, July 20, in the Sabine Clinic in Zwolle,
after a two month illness.

  Mr. Chance was a retired sawyer, and was a lifelong resident of
Sabine Parish.

  Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Ollie W. Chance, Hornbeck;
nine sons, F. C. Chance, Wilburn Chance, both of Anacoco, Wesley
Chance, Houston, Tex., Floyd Chance Jr., Alaska, Huey Chance,
Hornbeck, Coleman Chance, and James Chance, both of Dallas, Tex.,
Talmadge Chance, Lake Charles, and Allen Chance, Atlanta, Ga.; a
daughter, Mrs. Lerah Masters, Florien; a brother, Sidney Chance,
Anacoco; 26 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
