Rev. H. E. Chance

  Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Oct. 26, for Rev. H. E.
Chance, 74, who died Oct. 24, in Shreveport, after a short
illness.

  Rev. Chance had served 45 years in the ministry, and at the time
of his death, he was pastor of Faith Baptist Church.

  The services were held in the Faith Baptist Church, with the
Rev. Duane Pringle officiating.

  Burial was in Florien Cemetery, with Warren Funeral Home in
charge.

  Survivors include his wife; three sons, Willie, and Hance
Chance, both of Elizabeth, La., and Vance Chance of Port Arthur,
Texas; one daughter, Mrs. M. E. Stephens of Elizabeth; one
brother, Wilson Chance of Ringgold, La.; two sisters, Mrs. L. H.
Rivers of Zwolle, and Mrs. John Masters of Hornbeck; 11
grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
