Eva Ellen Corley Chance (Photo)

  Eva Ellen Corley Chance, 90, of Florien, died July 25, 2002, at
Sabine Medical Center.

  Graveside services were held at 11 a.m., July 27, at Toro
Cemetery in Florien. Bro. C. V. Chance, and Bro. Jessie Arnold
officiated.

  Survivors include her husband, Dan Shellie Chance of Florien;
daughter, Frances Dean and husband Loyd of Florien; sister,
Darline Kennedy of Shreveport; granddaughters, Shellie Darline
Dean, and Ellen Downs and husband Dennis, both of Florien; three
great grandchildren, Daniel Downs and wife Laci, Deana Shelly and
husband Ross, and Douglas Downs, all of Florien; and a host of
nieces, nephews, and friends.

  She was preceded in death by her parents, Della Dowden Corley,
and George Z. Corley; sisters, Christine Jordan and Iva Lee
Pilcher; and brothers, Lemon Corley, Herman Corley, Otto Corley,
and Bill Corley.

  Pallbearers were Johnny Corley, Tommy Corley, Daniel Downs,
Dennis Downs, Douglas Downs, and Ross Shelly.
