Visitation started at 10:30 a.m., Sunday morning, at Warren Meadows Funeral Home in Many, La. Rev. Kenny Martin, and Rev. Larry DeLoach officiated. Burial was in Bethany Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mrs. Constable died at 5:30 p.m., on July 15, in Schumpert Hospital in Shreveport, La. Mrs. Constable was born on August 29, 1901, in Sabine Ph., La., to John W. and Sophronia Carter Beard. She married William Lonzo Constable on January 1, 1934, in Marthaville, La. Mrs. Constable is preceded in death by one daughter, Loviana Bernice Moran Thompson; and four stepchildren, Leroy Moran, Herman Moran, Annie Lee Cooper, and Bertie Christine Smith. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Fronie Mitchell of Many, La., Mrs. Gaytha Simmons of Shreveport, La.; one stepdaughter, Helen Constable Harvey of Orange, Tex., and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pallbearers were her grandchildren.
