The Sabine Index - Luther M. Canady

  11 Nov 1955 - Funeral services for Luther M. Canady, 79, who
passed away at the Zwolle clinic, Sunday, Nov. 6 was conducted at
Middle Creek Baptist church at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7, with Rev.
M. L. Delk and Rev. E. E. Dees officiating. Burial was in Middle
Creek cemetery.

  Survivors are wife, Mrs. Mettie Canady, Florien; three sons,
Tom and Oscar Canady of Groves, Texas, and Othar Canady of
Maplewood, daughters, Mrs. Malva Richards of Florien, Mrs. Ruby
Ferguson and Mrs. Gladys Hebert both of Port Arthur, Mrs. Myra
Caldwell and Mrs. Jerry Hester of Groves, May Stevens of Houston
and 16 grandchildren.
