Rev. L. J. Counts

  Funeral services for Rev. L. J. Counts, age 74, who passed away
at his home near Many, Thursday, May 15, was conducted at Mt.
Zion Baptist Church at 2 p.m., Friday, May 16, with Rev. C. C.
Pierce officiating, assisted by Rev. Willis Greer. Interment was
in the church cemetery, under the direction of Warren Funeral
Home.

  Survivors are his sons, Roy of Monroe, Walter, Cecil, and Ray of
Many; daughters, Mrs. Vela Mae Ebarb of Shreveport, Mrs. Zack
Brumley of Many, Mrs. O. E. Wiley of Shreveport, Mrs. James
Tramel of Many; brothers, Jessie Counts of Montgomery, Ala.;
sister, Mrs. Oma Curtis of Baskin; 21 grandchildren; and 15 great
grandchildren.
