C. A. Ricks, W. L. Birdwell and O. W. Prothro officiating. Interment was in Ft. Jesup cemetery under the direction of the First National Funeral home of Natchitoches. Survivors are his widow, two brothers, James Obie Chandler, of Florien, Lloyd W. Chandler, Jasper, Texas, 4 sisters, Mrs. S. H. Taylor, Mrs. J. H. Harper, Mrs. Ed Sherman, all of Shreveport and Mrs. C. A. Ricks of Boyce. Mr. Chandler was a veteran of World War II, and owner and operator of a sawmill in Hemphill, Texas. He was a member of the Woodman of the World of Robeline.
