The Sabine Index - Roger Fletcher Chandler

  24 Apr 1959 - Funeral services for Roger Fletcher Chandler, age
51, who died April 18 at the Natchitoches hospital were conducted
at the First Baptist church in Robeline with Rev. C. A. Ricks, W.
L. Birdwell and O. W. Prothro officiating. Interment was in Ft.
Jesup cemetery under the direction of the First National Funeral
home of Natchitoches.

  Survivors are his widow, two brothers, James Obie Chandler, of
Florien, Lloyd W. Chandler, Jasper, Texas, 4 sisters, Mrs. S. H.
Taylor, Mrs. J. H. Harper, Mrs. Ed Sherman, all of Shreveport and
Mrs. C. A. Ricks of Boyce.

  Mr. Chandler was a veteran of World War II, and owner and
operator of a sawmill in Hemphill, Texas. He was a member of the
Woodman of the World of Robeline.
