  J. O. Chandler

  Funeral services were held for Jams Odie Chandler, 61, of
Florien Thursday, July 26, at 10 a.m in the Mt. Carmel Baptist
Church with the Rev. Phil Tisdale officiating. Burial was in the
Mt. Carmel Cemetery under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.


  Chandler died Monday, July 23, and is survived by his widow; one
son, Bobby Dean Chandler of Florien; one brother Loyd Chandler of
Jasper, Tex.; four sisters, Mrs. Mamie Taylor, Mrs. Virginia
Harper and Mrs. Mineola Sermons of Shreveport and Mrs. Yvonne
Ricks of Boise; and four grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Joe Salter, W. G. Lilly, J. C. Rogers, W. A.
Crnkovic, Oscar Lee and Jimmy Leach.
