The Sabine Index - George Robert Chandler

  1 Apr 1955 - Funeral services for George Robert Chandler, 78,
who passed away Wednesday, March 23 were conducted at Mt. Carmel
Baptist church at 2:30 p.m. March 24 with Rev. A. J. Dupree
officiating. Interment was in Mt. Carmel cemetery under the
direction of Warren Funeral Home.

  Survivors: Wife, Mrs. G. R. Chandler of Mt. Carmel; sons, Loyd
of San Augustine, Obie of Florien, Robert of Robeline; daughters,
Mrs. S. H. Taylor and Mrs. J. S. Harper of Shreveport, Mrs. E. J.
Sermons of Bossier City, Mrs. C. A. Ricks of Boyce; sister, Mrs.
Ada Aten of Converse; 17 grandchildren and eight
great-grandchildren.
