Chandler Services were conducted at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Haughton, for Mr. Clarence C. Chandler, at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 5, 1994. Officiating was Rev. Steve Neesley of Aimwell Baptist Church, where Mr. Chandler was a member. Burial was at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mr. Chandler, 88, entered into rest on Monday, Jan. 3, at his residence. He was a native of Arcadia, La., and a resident of Zwolle, for the past 23 years. Mr. Chandler was a member of the Zwolle Masonic Lodge No. 302, the Order of the Royal Arch, Past Master of the Sulphur and Zwolle Masonic Lodges, and retired from the Cities Service Oil Company, after 47 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Rettie Chandler of Zwolle; three daughters, Maxine West of Zwolle, Marcelene Thomton and husband Wade of West Lake Charles, Bonnie Rasberry and husband George of Sulphur; one son, Robert R. Chandler and wife Louise of Stonewall; a sister, Mrs. Lucille Evans of Bossier City; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were John Chandler, Randy Rasberry, Michael Robinson, Patrick Robinson, Ricky Landry, Lorie Altazan, Eddie Day, Paul Edwards, Steven Farmer, and Johnny Landry.
