(Rettie) Chandler Funeral services for Mrs. C. C. (Rettie) Chandler, 81, of Westlake, were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 19, 1996, at the Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Bossier City/Haughton. The Rev. Steve Neesley of Sabine Parish's Aimwell Baptist Church, officiated. Burial was at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mrs. Chandler entered into rest Thursday, Jan. 18, at Westlake, after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Bossier City, and lived at Toledo Bend for 20 years. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Sulphur Chapter, where she was past Worthy Matron. She is survived by one son, Robert Ray Chandler of Greenwood; three daughters, Marcelene Thornton of Westlake, Maxine West of Zwolle, and Bonnie Rasberry of Sulphur; one brother, Marvin Wilder of Bossier City; five sisters, Lottie Mae Gabbard of Carlyss, Dorothy Naron of Bossier City, Louise Gregory of Friendswood, Texas, Susie Garrison of Westlake, and Violet Stewart of Little Rock, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.
