Bobby Ray Canton

  Services for Bobby Ray Canton, 53, of Pleasant Hill, were held
at 4 p.m., Friday, July 31, at Springridge Baptist Church. Rev.
J. P. King officiated, assisted by Rev. Charles Duncan.

  Mr. Canton died, July 30, at 1:15 a.m., in Willis-Knighton
Hospital, following a lengthy illness. Burial was at Springridge
Cemetery.

  He was survived by his wife, Daisy Canton of Pleasant Hill; son,
Bradley Ray Canton of Pleasant Hill; two daughters, Deborah Lynn
Chambers of Zwolle, and Carol Ann Davis of Pleasant Hill; two
grandchildren, Kristan La-Rae Canton, and Benjamin Christopher
Kody Chambers of Zwolle; mother, Josie Canton of Houston, Tex.;
brother, Billy Canton of Houston, Tex.; great grandmother, Thelma
Young of Houston, Tex.

  Pallbearers were Marvin Booker, Danny Dyess, Roy Bush Bridges,
Hugh Hardee, Kenneth Dyess, Brady F. Strahan, and Wayne Dardeau.
