The Sabine Index - Mary Cunningham

  5 Sep 1947 - It is with deep regret that the many friends of
Mrs. Mary Cunningham of Marthaville learn of her death Sunday at
the Prothro clinic in Pleasant Hill. She is survived by her
daughter, Mrs. Silas Glaspie and Mrs. Lucille Lamert and her son,
Joel Cunningham also of Shreveport.

  Mrs. Cunningham was the eldest member of the Marthaville
Methodist church and has looked forward to the dedication of the
new church by Bishop Paul E. Martin and Dr. A. M. Freeman on
Sunday. A few hours later after the dedication services she
quietly passed away and was buried on Monday from the church she
loved and helped to build.
