James Cummings

  James Perry (Bud) Cummings, 84, died Monday, December 15, in a
Coushatta hospital.

  Services were held at 2 p.m. in Holly Springs Methodist church,
with Brother Thomas Rowe officiating. Burial was in Holly Springs
Cemetery.

  Survivors are his widow; three sons, Willie Cummings of
Natchitoches, Merce Cummings of Coushatta, and Wiley Cummings of
Many; one daughter, Mrs. Verlon Woodward of Cotton Valley; one
brother, Wallace Cummings of Pineville; four sisters, Mrs. Lizzie
Kellogg, and Mrs. Dicie Bailey, both of Coushatta; Mrs. Minnie
Lofton of Minden, and Mrs. Myrtle Smith of Kilgore, Tex.; 10
grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
