Gertrude Cummings

  Gertrude Cummings, 86, died Friday morning, May 26, in a local
hospital, after a long illness.

  Funeral services were at 2 p.m., Saturday, in the Holley Springs
Methodist Church. Burial was in the Holley Springs Cemetery.

  Mrs. Cummings is survived by three sons, Willie Cummings of
Natchitoches, Merce Cummings of Coushatta, and Wiley Cummings of
Many; one daughter, Mrs. D. E. Woodard of Cotton Valley; one
brother, G. M. Fair of Coushatta; one sister, Mrs. Docie Dupree
of Shreveport; 10 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren.
