All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Myrtle Hunt Cunningham Services for Mrs. Myrtle Hunt Cunningham, 96, of Shreveport, were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 15, at Rose-Neath Marshall St. Chapel, with the Rev. Fred Schwendimann, associate pastor of Noel Memorial United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was at Forest Park Cemetery. Mrs. Cunningham died Sunday, July 13, 1986, in Shreveport, following a short illness. A native of Atlanta, La., she had been a resident of Shreveport for the past fifty years. She was a retired educator and insurance agent, a member of the Noel Memorial United Methodist Church, where she taught the Business and Professional Women's Sunday School Class. She was a graduate of Mansfield Female College, and taught, and was principal of Pleasant Hill High School. She is survived by two sons, Joe W. Cunningham of Clinton, Ark., Jack H. Cunningham of Shreveport; five grandchildren, Dr. Don Cunningham, Jacque Kendall, Brenda Sue Cunningham, Nancy Smith, Joelyn West; five great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Bobby Smith, Greg West, Joe Kendall, Don Cunningham, Crawford Womack, Julian Galspie.
