All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mr. Wiley Merrill Cummings, Sr. Funeral services for Mr. Wiley Merrill Cummings Sr., 79, of Coushatta, will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 30, 1997, at the First Baptist Church of Many. The Revs. Bill Hines, Daniel Lowe, and Gene Wright will officiate. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mr. Cummings died Monday, April 28, at L. S. Huckabay Memorial Hospital in Coushatta. He is survived by his widow, Oleta Cummings of Coushatta; one son, Wiley Merrill Cummings Jr. of Many; two daughters, Sandra Lambert, and Donna Savell of Many; one stepson, James B. Loftin of Minden; one stepdaughter, Ann Lucius of Baytown, Texas; one sister, Ila Woodard of Cotton Valley; two brothers, Willie Cummings, and Merce Cummings, both of Coushatta; 13 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Cummings is preceded in death by his first wife, Grace Ross Cummings. Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Cummings, Lloyd (Bubba) Savell, Chris Lambert, Bradley Lambert, Jesse Lambert, Eric Lucius, Brad Anthony, Edward Cozier, Paul Wise, Andy Barron, and Greg Loftin.
