The Sabine Index - Mrs. Elizabeth Conerly

  11 Aug 1944 - Funeral rites for Mrs. Elizabeth Conerly, age
66 years, were held last Saturday at 11 a.m. at Prospect church.
Rev. W. W. Conerly, son of the deceased officiated, assisted by
T. Pynes. Interment was in Prospect cemetery, Massingill funeral
home directing. Pallbearers were: J. T. Davis, A. D. Davis, N. L.
Lee, Lewis Lee, and Thomas B. Petty, a grandson.

  Surviving are: husband, T. W. Conerly; three daughters, Mrs.
Lauvina Youngblood of Port Arthur, Texas, Mrs. Virginia Zuber of
Florien, Mrs. Ora Lee Petty of Many; six sons, Amos Conerly of
Port Arthur, Texas, Rev. W. W. Conerly of Brenhem, Texas, Ellis
Conerly of Many, Charles Conerly of Houston, Texas, Clarence
Conerly of U.S. army just returned from South Pacific, R. E.
Conerly of Beaumont, Texas; twelve grandsons and one
great-grandchild.

  Mrs. Conerly died suddenly at the family home
Wednesday, Aug. 2.
