Ellis C. Conerly

  Ellis C. Conerly, 73, of Florien, died Sunday, April 15, at
11:45 p.m., in Many, after a short illness.

  Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 17, at the Prospect
Methodist Church, with Dr. Edward Thomas of Broadmoor Methodist
Church officiating.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mamie Conerly of Florien; four
brothers, William W. Conerly of Alvin, Tex., Charles H. Conerly
of Wharton, Clarence A. Conerly of Broklet, Ga., and R. E.
Conerly of Florien; two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Zuber of Killeen,
Tex., and Mrs. Ora Lea Petty of Florien; and numerous nieces and
nephews.

  Pallbearers for the services were Johnny Conerly, C. H. Jordan
Jr., Ellis Petty, Harry Conerly, Eddie Smith, Thomas Petty, Billy
Petty, and Bobby Conerly.
