Olin Hartley Conerly

  Services were held for Mr. Olin Hartley Conerly, 82, at 10 a.m.,
Saturday, July 4, at Osborn Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Cliff Estes,
pastor, officiated, assisted by Rev. Lynn Mitchell, associate
pastor of Willow Point Baptist Church. Burial was at Forest Park
Cemetery.

  Mr. Conerly died at 7:24 p.m., Wednesday, July 1, at P & S
Hospital, after a brief illness.

  Mr. Conerly, a native of Vernon Parish, and a resident of
Shreveport 51 years, was retired from Esso Standard Oil Co.,
after 40 years of service. He was a very active member of the
Willow Point Baptist Church, the Fellowship Bible Sunday School
Class, and a member of Woodsman of the World.

  He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Addison Conerly; a son,
James A. Conerly; a daughter, Mrs. Mable Olynn Bertlaux, all of
Shreveport; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two
brothers, Herbert Conerly of Hornbeck, and Truman Conerly of
Beaumont.

  Pallbearers were Harold Mitchell, Stanly Shergolis, Earl
Wilbanks, Keith W. Bertlaux, Johnny Maranto, and Thomas Linn.

  Honorary Pallbearers were members of the Fellowship Bible Sunday
School Class.

  The family requests memorials be made to the Willow Point
Baptist Church.
