He was the son of the late Carrie H. Carhee and Bob Hale. Mr. Carhee was born on November 25, 1920 in Negreet, but was reared by his biological father, Isaac Carhee. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 5 at Lonestar Baptist Church with interment following at Lonestar Cemetery. Mr. Carhee confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Lonestar Baptist Church where he served faithfully until God called him home. He married Novrie Lee Williams Carhee in 1948 and to this union 11 children were born. He also has a step-daughter, and a son from a previous marriage ant two very special daughter. Survivors include his widow, Novrie Lee Carhee; five daughters, Doll Carhee and Carolyn Gray of Lake Charles, Pamela Booth of Many, special daughter, Adell Stills and family of Shreveport and Patricia Maxie and family of Florien; six sons, Charles, David, Jimmy, and Joe Lee Carhee, all of Many, Robert Carhee of Zwolle and Willie Carhee of Dallas, Texas; six brothers, Isaac Carhee of Costa Mesa, Calif, Lester and Johnny Lee Carhee, both of Many, Artis Carhee of Newton, Texas, Roy Hale of Many and WaFord Hale of Houston, Texas; one aunt, Rosie Lee Shepard of Dallas, Texas; two step-brothers; two step-sisters; 41 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces , nephews, other relatives and friends.
